The Amandla Center at 6400 S. Kedzie Avenue serves as a Drop-In Center for youth from 2PM to 6:30PM Monday-Friday.

Teens can participate in a number of open activities in addition to our more structured programs:
- Use of Community Technology Center Computer Lab and Music Studio
- Homework help and access to tutors
- Library and college resource center
- Open drawing and mural arts instruction
- Open dance in the Community Room
- Office space for youth-led meetings
- Free snacks
- Aid for job applications and career discernment
- Black and White Photography Darkroom
- Advice: SWYC Staff are always on hand to willingly lend an ear or aid in projects.
