Writer's Bench is a group of young artists developing their skills for educational, political and career advancement through the arts.

Goals of the program are to position youth artists, especially those under-employed and involved in the criminal justice system, as powerful and gifted community members through painting and drawing classes, community service projects, and discussions of political and cultural histories.
