Maria HS Technology Camp for girls
Maria High School will be offering a Technology Camp for 6-9th Grade Girls July 5, 12, 19 and 28.
9am-12noon each day
$50 per student
Instructor: Nannette Velasquez Zander
6727 W. California Ave.
You will learn the basics of computer hardware and software. you will learn via hands-on experience and you will have access to computers, Internet, and video conferencing equipment. You will take an adventure on a virtual fieldtrip. And you will collaborate on a camp project and play technology games to reinforce learning.

Lynn Moore (Duncan's Chief of Staff) and a representative of the CPS Law Department (creates Board policies) will be there for one part of the meeting to hear from youth about how school discipline should be changed. Blocks Together Youth Council members will ask them to explain what they are recommending for next year's Student Code of Conduct.
